Easy Access and Convenient Transportation
More than 86 international airlines operate flights to Korea from
more than 172 destination cities. Korea’s transportation network
includes domestic airlines, highways and rail services that ensure
on-time arrival. The Korea Train Express (KTX), which can attain
speeds as fast as 300km/hr and runs through the heart of the
peninsula, connects all major cities within a two-hour range.
Comfortable and Affordable Accommodations
Korea offers a wide range of choices from clean budget inns and
Korean traditional residences (Hanok) to deluxe hotels operated
by international chains such as the Ritz-Carlton, InterContinental,
Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott. Local hotel chains including Shilla and
Lotte also offer facilities and services second to none. There are
around 650 hotels, 70 of which are five-star hotels with more
than 115,000 rooms.

made chiefly from a wide variety of seasonal vegetables. Seasonings
include garlic, red pepper, scallions, soy sauce, fermented bean
paste, ginger and sesame oil. Staples of the Korean diet includes
Kimchi which is a fermented vegetable dish, Bulgogi which consists
of tender cuts of marinated and broiled meat, and Bibimbap which is
a mixture of rice, vegetables, egg and chilli sauce.
